We have a Rolling Application Process.

Aucocisco School is a Maine DOE approved Special Purpose Private School providing an exceptional K-12 educational experience for students who have struggled in previous settings. We accept private and public school students. Public school students are placed through the IEP process. This informational flyer can be shared with teams to help them find our more about making a referral to Aucocisco School.

The admission process for both public and private students includes:

  • An informational phone conversation and/or virtual meeting with the parents,

  • Review of recent IEPs, ISPs, evaluations, assessments, behavior plans, and referral concerns.

  • On site tour and student interview.

  • For publicly placed students, a member of our team is available to join the IEP team to provide information on our programs and services to assist the team in determining the student’s placement.
