Aucocisco School in Freeport, ME, is searching for dynamic and creative, certified teachers to join our team. Openings include high school math and science, and 7-12 generalists with special education background and experience. Eligibility for Maine certification in special education (282) required. Dually certified in Gen Ed and Special Ed is a plus. Full and part-time positions available.  Competitive pay and benefits.

Tutors/EdTechs

Part-Time, Full-Time, Summer, Year Round and After School

Aucocisco School in Freeport, ME is searching for dynamic and intelligent individuals to work as reading and/or math tutors. As we grow in our new location we are looking for:

  • After school

  • School vacations

  • Day School during the School Year

Subjects:

  • Math

  • Reading (paid training in the Lindamood Bell (R) muli-sensory reading programs

  • Executive Function

  • General Content areas - Academic Support

If you:

  • are looking for a job that will work around your school schedule & have a passion for helping children

  • have experience as a camp counselor, babysitter or other work with children

  • have attended at least 2 years of college-level education or have obtained 60 or more credits

  • do well in a highly structured and fast paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Providing fun, dynamic instruction based on each student’s learning needs

  • Following the specific steps of the programs as designated by the program director

  • Acting in a professional and positive manner with students, parents, and faculty

  • Working with students of various ages on a one-to-one or small group basis

  • Passing background check as required by the Maine Department of Education

  • Work independently and with a team
