Aucocisco (Aw-ko-sis-ko) is the Abenaki word for Casco Bay, it means “the resting place of the herons.” We feel our students are like resting birds who rest and recover with us before flying back out into the world.

With our many years of experience, we can help. Aucocisco School is a nonprofit, co-ed, Special Purpose Private School and learning center which serves students of all ages whose unique learning needs have not been met in traditional academic environments.
