Diagnostic Testing

Aucocisco Learning Center offers diagnostic educational testing services. We provide comprehensive educational testing for all school-age children and adults in order to objectively evaluate and answer questions like:

• Do you have any idea why your child is failing or under-performing academically?
• Is your child properly placed in the appropriate school program?
• Do you suspect that your child may have a learning disability?
• Are you worried that your child may be falling through the cracks?
• Does your child find school and homework frustrating? Meaningless?
• Are your child’s learning strengths and talents being ignored?
• Do you understand the relationship between reading speed and comprehension?
• Do you understand how reading speed affects test taking and homework completion?
• Do you wish your child or you could read faster?
• Why does your child have trouble taking tests? Is the problem “Test Anxiety?”
• Why is your child so disorganized, no matter what you try?

Aucocisco’s Comprehensive Diagnostic Educational Evaluation consists of a set of standardized tests which measure:

• Achievement levels in reading, math and writing
• Reading speed and fluency
• Learning style preferences
• Memory and processing speed
• Identification of all types of learning disabilities

Evaluations also may be individually targeted specifically in reading, written language or mathematics.
