Aucocisco School

Aucocisco School provides a complete remedial and compensatory school program allowing for  flexible scheduling.

Full-Day Program

Aucocisco provides a full academic day program for school-age students with unique learning needs. Our child-centered academic and  social skills program stresses the acquisition of both remedial and compensatory skills. Our goal is to return students to a more mainstream school environment.

Half-Day Program

Most students begin in a full-day program. As they come closer to transitioning out of Aucocisco, students may spend half of their day in an alternate setting. These settings include, but are not limited to, public schools, other private schools, technical and vocational schools, and work-study placements. These part-time placements allow our students to try out their new skills while still having the supports of the Aucocisco School placement available to them during their transition.

Work-Study

Many high school students in grades 11 and 12 choose to participate in a work-study program. The mission of work-study is to provide our students with meaningful opportunities for learning through practical, hands-on, work-related experiences.
